This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of eROAMING services and outlines the acceptable and prohibited activities for all users of our network. By accessing and using eROAMING services, you agree to adhere to this policy and understand that failure to do so may result in the suspension or termination of your service. Our goal is to ensure fair, ethical, and lawful usage of our services, while maintaining the integrity, security, and performance of our network.

The purpose of this Acceptable Use Policy is to:

• Ensure the proper and lawful use of eROAMING services.
• Protect the network from abuse, misuse, and exploitation that may impact performance or security.
• Safeguard the rights and privacy of all users within the eROAMING community.

This policy applies to all users of eROAMING services, including individuals, businesses, third-party providers, and any other entities accessing our network.

eROAMING services are designed for lawful, personal, and professional use. The following are considered acceptable uses of our services:

• Personal Communication: Using the service for personal communication purposes, including voice calls, text messages, and data usage, for non-commercial purposes.
• Business Communication: Conducting legitimate business operations, such as customer service, internal communications, sales, and marketing activities..
• Educational and Research Purposes: Using the service to access resources for learning, research, and professional development.
• Emergency and Health Services: Accessing emergency services and utilizing the service for health-related purposes, in accordance with local regulations and healthcare guidelines.

eROAMING services are not to be used for the following activities, which may result in the immediate suspension or termination of services:

• Illegal Activities: Engaging in activities that violate local, national, or international laws. This includes, but is not limited to, fraud, theft, harassment, defamation, or unlawful surveillance.
• Malware, Viruses, and Phishing: Transmitting, uploading, or engaging in the distribution of harmful software, viruses, malware, phishing attacks, or any other malicious programs that could compromise the security of the network or the data of other users.
• Unauthorized Access or Hacking: Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the eROAMING network, the networks of our partners, or third-party service providers. This also includes bypassing security measures or exploiting vulnerabilities in the network.
• Spamming and Bulk Messaging: Sending unsolicited, bulk, or promotional emails, SMS, or other communications in violation of anti-spam laws and regulations.
• Offensive or Harmful Content: Using eROAMING services to store, transmit, or distribute content that is abusive, offensive, or discriminatory, including hate speech, threats, pornography, and content that violates the dignity of individuals or groups.
• Excessive Data or Service Use: Engaging in activities that cause excessive or unreasonable load on the eROAMING network, such as machine-to-machine communications, automated data scraping, or high-volume transactions that may disrupt normal service for others.
• Commercial Use Without Authorization: Using eROAMING services for commercial purposes, including reselling services, providing mobile hotspot services to third parties, or using the network for unapproved business ventures.

To ensure equitable and responsible use of the network, eROAMING implements a Fair Use Policy (FUP) for all customers:

• Data Usage: The unlimited eROAMING plan includes a daily high-speed data allocation. Once the limit is exceeded, the speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps for the remainder of the day, ensuring that all users can access the network without impacting performance.
• Voice and SMS: Usage for voice and SMS services should remain within reasonable limits. Excessive use, such as continuous calling or SMS spamming, may result in throttling or service suspension.
• Automated and Machine-to-Machine Use: Customers using eROAMING services for automated or machine-to-machine purposes (e.g., IoT devices) must seek prior authorization. These activities are monitored to prevent network abuse.

If you apply for a Pay Monthly contract, we will share your personal information with credit reference agencies (CRAs) to conduct credit and identity checks. CRAs will provide us with information to assist in making an automated decision about whether we can enter into a contract with you.

• Account Security: Customers are responsible for securing their eROAMING account credentials. This includes safeguarding passwords and ensuring that no unauthorized individual gains access to their account. Any unauthorized access should be reported to eROAMING immediately.
• Privacy of Communications: All users must respect the privacy of others. Users must not access, record, or share private communications or personal information without consent. Any breach of privacy may result in account suspension or legal action.
• Data Protection: eROAMING is committed to protecting the personal data of all users in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Customers should review eROAMING’s Privacy Policy for more details on data protection measures.

Failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy may result in the following actions:

• Warning: A formal warning may be issued for minor violations, with a request to immediately cease the prohibited activity.
• Temporary Suspension: Access to eROAMING services may be temporarily suspended for repeated or serious violations of the policy.
• Permanent Termination: In cases of significant or repeated violations, eROAMING reserves the right to permanently terminate the customer’s account and services, without refund or compensation.
• Legal Action: eROAMING may pursue legal action in cases involving illegal activity, fraud, or violations that result in significant harm to the company or its users.

eROAMING reserves the following rights:

• Monitoring and Compliance: We have the right to monitor the use of eROAMING services to ensure compliance with this Acceptable Use Policy and to protect the network from abuse.
• Modification or Suspension of Services: eROAMING reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate services, in whole or in part, at its discretion, for violations of this policy or due to circumstances that may compromise the network’s integrity or security.
• Investigation of Violations: eROAMING has the right to investigate any suspected violations of this policy and take corrective actions, including suspending or terminating services, without prior notice.
• Policy Changes: eROAMING reserves the right to modify this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. All users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of any updated policy.

Customers are encouraged to report any suspected violations of this policy to eROAMING’s support team at help@eroaming.co.uk. All reports will be taken seriously, and necessary actions will be taken to address potential issues.

By using eROAMING services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Failure to adhere to this policy may result in suspension or termination of services.

Our eSIM services are intended solely for temporary use by international travelers. They are not intended for long-term use by local residents in regulated markets like the UAE. We reserve the right to terminate service in cases of regulatory breach.
